The cervical spine, more commonly known as your neck, can have many of the same problems that are found in the lumbar spine, or low back.
This means that you can have herniated cervical discs and stenosis of the cervical spine as well as the lumbar spine. Sometimes these conditions in your neck can result in pain, numbness or tingling down your arm, or even into both of your arms. Occasionally, people think they have a problem in their arm or shoulder when the real cause may be in the cervical spine.
At Twin Cities Spine Center, we are experts in ALL areas of the spine—including the cervical (neck), thoracic (mid back) and lumbar (low back).
